Planned Maintenance System
Often vessel owners with small teams of shore staff struggle to maintain oversight onboard vessels. To support these owners Maritech regularly sends surveyors to attend vessels that have major damage and provide corrective action to prevent these situations.
One vessel was struggling with main engine issues and technical solutions by the crew only created further damage. Our team stepped in to not only find the fault in the system but provide leadership on the repairs needed to get the vessel underway saving the owner considerable time and money from non-use of the vessel. Additionally our surveyors were able to identify problems with the Planned Maintenance System onboard and deliver our customers the necessary information to avoid this situation in the future.
